Some dealers will use BayIQ's Rewards Certificates to redeem rewards. Depending on which point-of-sale shop management system your business uses, you may not need to create Rewards Certificates.
If your business is using one of the following point-of-sale systems, rewards are redeemed within your point-of-sale system and you will not create Rewards Certificates. Visit POS Integrations for a detailed walk-through of redeeming points within your point-of-sale.

Learn how to create Rewards Certificates and apply them to customer invoices below.
Step 1 - Access Your Customer Terminal
First, select Customers then Customer Terminal from the top menu.
Step 2 - Search for The Customer
Search by Card #, Email, Phone #, or Last name, then select Go!
Step 3 - Create Your Certificate
Select your customer from the list of results. If there is only one result, you'll be taken directly to the customer's Rewards Profile.
Depending on which Reward your customer would like to redeem, follow the instructions below to create a Certificate.
Enter a dollar value of Points to redeem, then select Create Points Certificate.
Select a Bonus to redeem by choosing a bubble under Select. Then select Create Bonus Certificate.
Step 4 - Add Your Rewards to the Invoice
Locate Certificate Code
Once your certificate is created, you will see Available Certificates on the right-hand side of the page. Click on the Code to copy it to your clipboard.
Select undo to cancel the certificate and add the Rewards back to the account.
Add Code to Line Item Description
When applying the Reward Redemption to a customer invoice, paste the copied code into the Line Item description. Here is an example of an invoice where the certificate has been added.
This will remove the Bonus or Rewards Points from their Rewards Account. If you forget to paste the code into the line item description, the certificate will expire 7 days after creation and the points or bonus will still be removed from the customer's account.
PLEASE NOTE: You must manually discount the line item in your point of sale for the amount being redeemed. Adding the code will not do this automatically.
