What you need to know:
- The point of sale change is typically completed within 1 business day but can take up to 3 days in case of rare complications after you are ready to start using your new Point of Sale.
- AutoVitals will not be able to save job-specific time (when using labor-line timers in AutoVitals), job-specific notes, and job-specific images for repair orders that were in your previous point of sale. Inspection results and service history will be saved.
What you need to do before AutoVitals initiates the point of sale change on your account:
- Let your Customer Success Advisor know of a planned point of sale change as early as possible.
In your new Point of Sale: Import service history from your original point of sale into the new point of sale (with the original RO#s). If this is not completed you may be missing data in AutoVitals.
In your old/previous Point of Sale: Closeout all open repair orders. Any ROs that are currently open will lose all information on the repair orders, including inspection results. If that is not possible, you’ll need to save or note down any important information you want to keep on those open ROs. AutoVitals will not be able to recover any data associated with open ROs after the point of sale change.
