Overview
Promised Time is typically used by a shop to indicate the date and time the shop committed to having a vehicle completed to the customer. While many shops use this, there are some that do not. It is important for shops that DO use promised times to quickly and easily see when the promised time is approaching and if it’s been exceeded so they can take action in the shop and set proper expectations with their customer.
Promised Time ON
If promised time is ON it will show up on the RO tiles as follows:
This is the default state when there is a promised time defined and the promised time is more than one hour in the future:

This is the warning state when the promised time is within one hour:
This is the alert state when the promised time has been exceeded:
Promised Time OFF
If promised time is OFF no promised time will show on the RO tiles:

Settings
Each shop can turn promised time ON or OFF. This setting is ON by default.
Follow the steps below to configure this setting:

Log into https://shop.autovitals.com/

Select the Inspection tab (should open by default)

See the section along the right hand side, Electronic Inspection Sheet (EIS)

Navigate to the setting for Promised Time
