How To Redeem Customer Rewards Bonuses and Points In ShopWare
Rewards Redemption Code
Obtain the customer's rewards redemption code by either generating it for them in the customer terminal, or acquire it from them after they have generated it for themselves in their customer portal.
Below is an example of the email a customer receives regarding the redemption. It includes:
- The Bonus or Points being redeemed
- Dollar Value to be discounted on the RO
- Expiration Date (*NOTE* If not used by expiration date, rewards will no longer be redeemable)
- Redemption Code, which always begins with 'MCCR'
Add Corresponding Rewards Canned Job To The Repair Order
In the Canned Jobs menu, select the canned job that matches the reward to be redeemed and add it to the repair order. Examples of canned jobs that are set up are:
- BayIQ Reward $5 Signup bonus
- BayIQ Reward $10 Second visit
- BayIQ Reward $20 Referral bonus
- BayIQ Reward $20 Birthday Bonus
Add Rewards Redemption Code
To add the code to the canned job:
- click on the name of the canned job on the repair order.
- key in the rewards redemption code at the end of the canned job name and click the blue check box to save.
Apply Discount To The Repair Order
In the Repair Order summary box (bottom right)
- Click the Parts Discount or Labor Discount amount (depending on where you want the discount applied.
- Enter the amount of the discount and then click the blue check mark.
Complete The Repair Order as Normal
Once the vehicle is completed and the RO is closed out, the code will be matched to the customer's rewards account and the redemption will be tracked along with any new points earned being tabulated.
