Everything your shop needs to run AutoVitals: which tablets and phones the AutoVitals.X mobile app supports, the hardware and software requirements for your shop computer and point-of-sale server, and the network setup required.

Mobile Devices: Tablets & Phones

AutoVitals.X mobile app requires a device running:

Apple: iOS 16 or later
Android: 9 or later

Not sure what your device is running?

iPad or iPhone: Go to Settings > General > About. The number next to Software Version is your iOS version, and your model is listed on the same screen.

Samsung tablet: Go to Settings > About tablet > Software information. The number next to Android version is what you need. Your model number (for example, SM-X210) is on the About tablet screen.

Other Android devices: Go to Settings > About phone or About tablet > Software information.

Minimum Required - Wired connection with minimum upload speed of 10Mbps
Recommended - Wired connection with minimum upload speed of 20Mbps
Dedicated WiFi separate from the general WiFi of the store

Business class router / firewall with gigabit connectivity.
Dual band wireless access points (APs) connected via wired backhaul and configured for seamless handoff (Recommended vendors: Ruckus and Cisco Meraki)
