How to Lock/Unlock the Work Order in DVI.X

Use the lock feature on the vehicle tile when adding and approving additional work in the PoS after the initial diagnosis or inspection. This ensures that your technicians will only see work that has been authorized on their digital work orders.

Work Order is Unlocked on the Today’s Vehicle Page (TVP)

1. The work order is unlocked. If you edit the work order in your PoS, any changes will be immediately reflected on the work order in AutoVitals. When unlocked, any additional jobs you add in the PoS will automatically be approved for the default technician on the work order in AutoVitals.
   You must click on this icon to lock it before building the estimate in your PoS. Only unlock it once you have received additional approvals.
2. The work order is unlocked. This is a status only and cannot be clicked

Work Order is Locked on the Today’s Vehicle Page (TVP)

1. The work order is locked. If you edit the work order in your PoS, changes will not transfer to the work order in AutoVitals until you unlock it.
   You must click on this icon to unlock it after you have received additional approvals and marked any unapproved jobs as declined in your PoS. 
2. The work order is locked. This is a status only and cannot be clicked.
