Overview
This guide shows how to customize Service Reminder emails in AutoVitals, including editing content, setting a custom call-to-action (CTA) URL, adjusting design and placeholders, and previewing or testing your changes.
Access Settings
- Open shop System Settings
- Select Communication
- Select Post Visit

Service Reminder Email
Email Editing Options
The following is customizable in the email editor:
- Subject Line
- Message Body
- Formatting: Bold, Italics, Underline, Font Size, Color, Highlight Color
- Hyperlinks
- Justification: Left, Center, Right
- Placeholders: Use the blue items from the Placeholders menu. Click the placeholder to copy, then paste them into the message body.
- Header image

Header Image
The header image can be updated using the settings below:
- Select CLICK TO REPLACE IMAGE to open the file selector on the user’s device.
- Select Submit Changes at the bottom of the page to save
Recommended image size - width: 970px, height: 575px
Service Reminder Text Message
To edit the body of your Service Reminder text message:
- Scroll to the Text Message box
- Update the body of your text message.
- Select Submit Changes at the bottom of the page to save
Preview & Testing
To test your Call to Action settings and message appearance for your Service Reminders, please follow the steps below to send yourself a test message.
Select Test below your email or text message settings.
Enter the phone number or email address and select Send.
