Overview
Customize the call-to-action button on your Service Reminders so they direct a customer to a URL of your choice instead of the AutoVitals Scheduler.

Settings
To use a Custom URL for your call-to-action, follow the steps below:
- Navigate to shop Settings
- Select Communication
- Select Post Visit
- Select the Service Reminders tab
- Scroll to call-to-action settings
“See Recommended Services”
This link directs the customer to the Service Reminder Landing Page.
You can customize the design of this button by editing the text, button color, or font color.
Note: For the “See Recommended Services” call-to-action, there is no option to change the URL.
“Request Appointment”
You can customize the design of this button by editing the text, button color, or font color. Select either AutoVitals Scheduler or Custom URL.
AutoVitals Scheduler
If the AutoVitals Scheduler option is selected as the call-to-action for Service Reminders:
- The Request Appointment call-to-action button will open the AutoVitals Scheduler
- The latter half of the Service Reminder will have an option to Choose a date via the AutoVitals Scheduler
- Appointment requests will land in the AutoVitals Scheduler
Custom URL
To use a Custom URL for your Request Appointment call to action, follow these steps:
- In the "Request Appointment", select Custom URL
- Input a valid URL (including "https://")
- Select Submit Changes at the bottom of the page.
If the Custom URL option is selected as the call-to-action for Service Reminders:
- The Request Appointment call-to-action button will open the URL added in your Settings (above)
- Customers will be directed to the URL added in your Settings, instead of the AutoVitals Scheduler
Testing Your Settings
To test your Call to Action settings and message appearance for your Service Reminders, please follow the steps below to send yourself a test message.
Select Test below your email or text message settings.
Enter the phone number or email address and select Send.
- Click on the call-to-action landing page in the email and/or text you receive
- On the landing page, ensure when you select Request Appointment it directs to your Custom URL
