Overview
Customize the call-to-action button on your Service Reminders so they direct a customer to a URL of your choice instead of the AutoVitals Scheduler.

Settings
To use a Custom URL for your call-to-action, follow the steps below:
- Navigate to shop Settings
- Select Communication
- Select Post Visit
- Select the Service Reminders tab
- In the Call-to-Action section, toggle ON the Custom URL option
- Input a (valid) URL
- Select Submit Changes at the bottom of the page to save
How It Works
Custom URL
If the Custom URL option is selected as the call-to-action for Service Reminders:
- The Request Appointment call-to-action button will open the URL added in your Settings (above)
- Customers will be directed to the URL added in your Settings, instead of the AutoVitals Scheduler
AutoVitals Scheduler
If the AutoVitals Scheduler option is selected as the call-to-action for Service Reminders:
- The Request Appointment call-to-action button will open the AutoVitals Scheduler
- The latter half of the Service Reminder will have an option to Choose a date via the AutoVitals Scheduler
- Appointment requests will land in the AutoVitals Scheduler
Testing Your Custom URL
In order to test that your new Custom URL is working for your Service Reminders, please follow the steps below to send yourself a test preview:
- Navigate to shop Settings
- Select Communication
- Select Preview
- Scroll to the Service Reminder section
- Select the Test button
- Search for any Customer Name to select them for use in your test example (the customer won't receive anything)
- Highlight the Customer you want to use (shown below in blue)
- Input an email and/or text phone number to send the test to
- Select Send to send the test
- Click on the call-to-action landing page in the email and/or text you receive
- On the landing page, ensure when you select Request Appointment it directs to your Custom URL
