Requesting an Appointment
For shops utilizing the AutoVitals CRM, customers can request appointments after they receive service reminders, email and text message campaigns, and more.
From a text message or email, the customer will Request an Appointment:

Select their desired date and time

Select whether they need regular maintenance and/or any other services

Submit their request

The shop will be alerted of any appointment requests via email and in the Conversation Center from the Today’s Vehicle Page (TVP):

Click on the message to review the appointment request:

If the appointment date and time works for the shop, they should enter the appointment in Tekmetric (see below).

If the appointment date and time does not work for the shop, they should communicate with the customer to find a new date and time. From AutoVitals, the shop can send and email and/or text message to the customer to coordinate:

Create & Confirm the Appointment in Tekmetric
Once the shop has agreed to a date and time for the appointment with the customer, create the appointment in Tekmetric:


The appointment will now be visible in Tekmetric and will show up on the AutoVitals Today’s Vehicle Page (TVP) under Today’s Appointments:

Email & Text Appointment Confirmations
Each shop can configure appointment confirmations to send via email and/or text message, depending on the customer’s communication preferences, when appointments are created in Tekmetric.

Email & Text Appointment Reminders
Like confirmation emails, reminders can be sent automatically via email and/or text message, depending on the customer’s communication preferences, 10 days prior to the appointment and 1 day prior to the appointment.
