Workflow Setup
Accessing Workflow and TechView
To toggle between TechView and Workflow, use the toggle at the top of today's vehicle page.
- Click each Workflow step dropdown
- Select the columns you want displayed
- Do this for each column in the order you want them displayed
- Once complete, click on User Icon
- Click Settings
- Select the total number of desired columns
- Click Manage to name and save this Workflow configuration
- Click Load a Config to load a pre-saved configuration
- This works for both Workflow and Techview configurations
Recommended Workflow Configuration
The default workflow configuration is designed to represent each stage a vehicle may or must go through during a visit to your shop. This helps advisors organize and track the status of all vehicles to ensure nothing is overlooked.
Default Workflow Steps:
- Waiting for Drop-Off: Manual step for vehicles not yet at the shop. Alternatively, use "Today's Appointments" for an automated list of today's scheduled appointments.
- Waiting for Inspect: For vehicles that have arrived and are awaiting initial inspection by the technician.
- Creating Estimate: Pricing out the estimate and options for the customer post-inspection.
- Waiting for Approval: Waiting on customer callback or authorization.
- Waiting on Parts: For vehicles waiting on parts to arrive(or other reasons for delay).
- Waiting for Work finished: To complete final authorized labor lines.
- Waiting for Pickup: Awaiting payment and vehicle pickup.
Using Workflow
- Drag and drop tiles to move vehicles through each workflow stage
Adding New Workflow Steps

Navigate to System Settings:
- Click the Today's Vehicle Page menu .
- Select System Settings.

Add or Edit Workflow Steps:
- Click Workflow
- Click Workflow Steps
- Click Workflow Steps tab
- Click ADD NEW WORKFLOW STEP to add an additional Workflow Step
- Click to edit an existing Workflow Step
Components of a Workflow Step:
- Name: Name of the step.
- Position: Set the placement of this Workflow Step
- Displayed on Tablet: Select whether vehicles in this Workflow Step are displayed to the technicians or not
- Authorize New Jobs: Check this box to automatically approve newly added jobs when in this Workflow Step
- Exclude Hours: Uncheck this box for steps where the vehicle is actively being worked on
- Job Approval Options: Select Yes to automatically approve any unapproved jobs when moving to this Workflow Step
