Understanding How Repair Orders (ROs) Are Shown in the Tech View:
In the Tech View, Repair Orders (ROs) are organized to help manage workflow efficiently. Here's a simple guide to understand how they're displayed:
- When Jobs Are Assigned to the Default Technician:
- If one or more jobs are assigned to the Default Technician, you'll see the ROs listed under that technician's name. This helps ensure the right jobs go to the right person.
- When Jobs Are Assigned to Another Technician:
- If jobs are assigned to a technician other than the Default Technician, you'll find the ROs listed under that technician's name instead. This ensures each technician knows what tasks they're responsible for.
- When Jobs Are Approved But Not Assigned to Any Technician:
- If jobs are approved but not yet assigned to any technician, you'll still see the ROs listed under the Default Technician. This helps keep track of all approved work, even if it hasn't been assigned yet.
- When All Jobs Are Declined or Not Approved:
- If all jobs on an RO are declined or not yet approved, you'll find that RO listed separately under the "NOT ACTIVE" column. This helps identify which orders need attention.
- When an RO Has No Jobs Assigned:
- If an RO doesn't have any jobs assigned but still has a Default Technician, it will be listed under that technician's name.
- When an RO Has No Default Technician:
- If there's no default technician assigned to an RO but jobs are assigned to another technician or not assigned at all, the RO will be shown accordingly.
- When Jobs Are Assigned to a Generic Technician or No Technician:
- Similar to Scenario 2 and 3, if jobs are assigned to a generic technician or no technician, you'll see the ROs listed accordingly.
- When an RO Has No Jobs and No Default Technician:
- If an RO has neither jobs nor a default technician assigned, it will be listed under the "NO TECH" column.
Understanding these scenarios helps ensure that work is assigned correctly and everyone knows what tasks they need to complete.
