BayIQ Text-to-Join allows your customers to easily register for your rewards program or access their existing rewards account by texting your designated shortcode to 66158. This article will review how customers can use Text-to-Join.
What is My Shortcode?
To register for the Rewards program via Text-to-Join, a customer texts the store code to 66158. This code will be created by BayIQ during the onboarding process. To view your shortcode within the BayIQ dashboard, visit your market settings.
Your shortcode can be found under SMS Keywords on your General Settings page. To update or create additional keywords, email firstname.lastname@example.org.
Register for Rewards
When a non-rewards customer texts your shortcode, BayIQ will reply with a link letting them know we’re looking for their account. If an account is found, we’ll reply with a direct link to login, this is covered in the Accessing an Active Rewards Account section of this article.
If no Rewards Account is found, the customer will see the following message before being redirected to the sign up page.
Once the signup form is complete, they’ll be directed to complete their rewards profile with their address and vehicle information. If the customer does not complete their registration, we’ll send them an email with a link to finish.
Once registration is complete, your customer can access their available rewards, view your promotions, or schedule an appointment through their Customer Portal.
Accessing an Active Rewards Account
When a Rewards Customer texts your short code, BayIQ will respond with a link to access their account directly.
