The BayIQ Email Blast functionality can be used to send emails to your customer base including both rewards customers and non-rewards customers.
Creating an Email Blast
To create an email blast in BayIQ, please follow the steps provided below.
Customer List
First, use the List Builder to create the customer list you want to send the email to. For details on using List Builder, please see: Using List Builder
Once you’ve created a list of customers with List Builder, follow the steps below to create your email blast:

Select Send Email Blast in the top right corner of the screen

Next, the Email Blast window will open to create your email
Subject
Enter a Subject line for your email blast:
Call to Action
Add a Call to Action to your email by selecting one of the following options:
Custom URL
This selection allows you to include a call to action button with a link to any URL you choose:

Input a Custom URL, prefaced by http:// or https://

Enter your Button Text. This will be the text on the call to action button within the email.

Select your Button Color or enter a hex code for the color you want to use
“Login to Portal” link
This selection will link rewards customers directly to their Rewards Customer Portal to view available rewards, shop information, past transactions, and upcoming service recommendations.
Note: If your email blast recipient list includes non-rewards customers, a "Sign Up for Rewards" link will be displayed instead.
Update your Button Text, to change the default label on the CTA button within your email. Finally, choose your Button Color or enter a hex code for the color you’d like to use.
“Signup For Rewards” link
This selection will link rewards customers directly to your Signup Page to register for your rewards program.
Note: If your email blast recipient list includes rewards customers, the "Login to Portal" link will be displayed instead.
Update your Button Text, to change the default label on the CTA button within your email. Finally, choose your Button Color or enter a hex code for the color you’d like to use.
No Call to Action
This selection will NOT include any Call to Action button in the email
Message
Use the Message section to add your message and content to the email body. There are several options for text formatting, links, images, and viewing the source code.
All message will include the following elements by default:

Your logo
-
“Hi [Customer’s First Name],” salutation

Kind Regards, [Your Shop Name] signature

Unsubscribe and Shop information in the footer for compliance
Adding an Image

Select the Picture icon to insert an image or images throughout the message body:

Next, select an image from your computer using Choose File

OR enter an Image URL

The image will populate in the message body and in the preview below the message window
Preview Your Message
The bottom of the window will automatically update as you make changes to your email.
Point Balance
Selecting the Point Balance toggle will add the number of rewards points and dollar value of those points to the email message body. Example: 50 points = $3.50
Note: If your email blast includes non-rewards customers, NO rewards points will be included in their emails. This selection is only visible to rewards customers.
Test Emails
Enter up to 5 email addresses and select Send Test to send a preview of your email blast:
Reply To
To designate an email address to receive replies from customers:

Select Reply to Email from the drop down

Enter an email address
When you’re ready, select Send Blast to send your email blast!
Email Blast Report
To view the performance of your email blast, view the Email Blast Report from your Reports tab. See more here: Email Blast Reporting
