This page lists what’s new and updated in each AV.X app update, with the newest release at the top. Updates roll out gradually, so a new version may not show up on your device right away. To use the most recent version, visit your app store and select Update, or uninstall and reinstall the app.

What's new
A new AV.X update for iOS starts rolling out October 27, 2026. It includes the fixes listed below.
- Gradual rollout: The update reaches iOS users in phases, so it may not appear on every device right away.
- Auto-update off: Open the App Store, find AV.X, and tap Update.
Want it sooner?: Uninstall and reinstall AV.X from the App Store.
Inspections & Guided Mode
- "No Issue" corrections: keeps tech notes, asks to confirm, and no longer requires photos/notes in Guided Mode
- Statuses, notes, and actions save and display correctly, including on TVP results
- Mandatory checks and topic counters now cover all inspections
- Guided Mode Submit Inspection now follows mandatory checks, Odometer Out, the job timer, and the "complete jobs before submit" setting
- Guided Mode job camera and screen-rotation fixes
- Selecting Done on a photo keeps your place in the inspection
Camera, photos & video
- Zoom, focus, and sharpening fixes for clearer photos
- Video and attachment upload fixes
- Photo scrolling in Service History and media preview fixes
Work orders, labor & timers
- Service advisors can create work orders and see work order lines; techs can see the customer concern line
- Vehicle info fixes (vehicle number, odometer, license, out mileage)
- Labor and job notes no longer lost or switched, including on screen rotation
- Job timer fixes: stops at 100% complete and is kept after closing the app
- Tile reactivation fixes
- No Activity option added and decimal quantity display fixed
Chat
- Attachments and links open; images and videos upload to Support chat
- Full message history and correct unread counts
- iPhone keyboard no longer hides the Vehicle chat text box
Settings, login & app stability
- Fixed tablet connectivity issues
- Settings no longer carry over to the next technician after logout
- Clock-in setting fixes (force clock-in on tablet, daily time budget)
