When a vehicle is transitioned through your shop's workflow, customers can receive automatic messages on their vehicles progress using Workflow Status Notifications.

Accessing Workflow Status Notification Settings
- Open shop System Settings
- Select Communication
- Select During Visit
Enable Sending
- Check the Workflow Step messages enabled box
- Click Submit Changes at the bottom of the page
- Once enabled, only messages where Send on launch of step is checked will be sent (see below).
Individual Messages
- For each Workflow Step, check Send on launch of step
- Click Submit Changes
Note: No messages will be sent unless Send on launch of step is enabled.
Email & Text Templates
Edit Messages
- Click the pencil icon next to the message you want to edit.
- Or, click the carrot icon next to the Workflow Status template name.
Email Editing Options
The following is customizable in the email editor:
- Subject Line
- Message Body
- Formatting: Bold, Italics, Underline, Font Size, Color, Highlight Color
- Hyperlinks
- Justification: Left, Center, Right
- Images: Add to the message body.
- Placeholders: Use the blue items from the Placeholders menu. Click the placeholder to copy, then paste them into the message body.
Text Editing Options
- Use the Text field to enter the body of your text message.
- Add placeholders to direct customers to the URL of your choosing.

Workflow Status Placeholders
Inspection Result [I URL]
- If included, the text message link directs customers to their inspection results.
- For multiple inspection results, one link for each will be included.
Workflow Status Landing Page [WF URL]
If included, the link directs customers to the landing page, the landing page appearance matches the email template.
Call to Action Options & Appearance
Use the drop down menu under Call to Action to choose your call to action option.

FAQs
Q: What if I accidentally move the RO to the wrong workflow step?
A: There is a 1 minute delay in sending a Workflow Status Notification and each notification will only be sent one time.
