Settings & Configuration
To turn this setting on or off, follow the steps below:
Open shop settings
From the Shop tab, select ON or OFF
Waiting for Pickup Prompt is ON
When this setting is ON, the Service Advisor will receive a prompt indicating there are incomplete jobs on the work order and asking if they want to move the vehicle to Waiting for Pickup.
When a user selects NO, the following will happen:
This will return the user to the TVP screen and will not complete any jobs or change the RO’s workflow status.
Depending on shop settings and the shop’s AutoVitals package, the workflow status notification will be NOT BE SENT to the customer (if applicable)
When a user selects YES, the following will happen:
All jobs on the RO will be automatically completed
The RO will be moved to Waiting for Pickup
This information will be logged in the Vehicle Event Log

Waiting for Pickup Prompt is OFF
Note: This is the default setting for all existing shops and for all NEW shops.
When this setting is OFF, the repair order will move to the pickup workflow step and any incomplete jobs will be automatically completed without any prompt to the Technician or to the Service Advisor on the TVP.
